IN DRYDOCK (STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE)
The beginning of my humble and all-too-inadequate "homage" to the glorious drydock scene in "Star Trek: The Motion Picture." The combination of the anticipation that I was feeling for seeing the newly-remodelled starship USS Enterprise, plus the brilliant cinematography, plus the heavenly music, and ultimately the mesmerizing design of the ship once unveiled, is still a defining moment of my childhood.
