LEAVING EARTH ORBIT (STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE)
The Enterprise pulling away from the DryDock facility orbiting earth at the beginning of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Gotta love NASA for their gorgeous photos of earth (all public domain!) The lighting for this is all from the refit USS Enterprise (NCC-1701), except for a single Carrara spotlight for the sun, with no post-render work done on this image except to add the inset and the text in Adobe PhotoShop.
