Imperial T.I.E. Interceptor
This is a close-up of my favorite Imperial fighter, the TIE Interceptor. This is the Ferrari of Imperial fighters, brutally fast and heavily armed (SIX, count them, SIX lasers!) Of course, still no shields or hyper-drive...
The above image was modeled and rendered in Carrara, using the command-sphere from my TIE Fighter model. I changed thw wings, and added the light-blue color that I saw in most reference images of the actual filming model. That may have been the studio-lighting making the gray model look blue, but even if that is the case, I like the blue "paint job" that I created the 3D model with anyway.
