Episode IV:
R2-D2 sneaking away from the Lars Homestead
Another one of my last images done in Ray Dream Studio, circa 2000. I'm rather pleased with the lighting on this one, as well as the models I made for it - the Lars moisture farm, the Treadwell droid, and Luke's landspeeder. I particularly like how I got the shadow of the Treadwell droid to reach out directly to R2-D2: yes, that was intentional. The lens flare added in PhotoShop, otherwise there was no post-render work.
