Episode IV:
C-3PO and R2-D2
So far, my ultimate modeling achievement - C-3PO! I had wanted to create a model of this famous protocol droid for more than a decade, as far back as when I first purchased Ray Dream Studio back in 1995. Doing the body was challenging, but not nearly as much so as creating the face and head. Looking back at it now, I'm not even sure how I did it! But yes, everything in this scene above- R2-D2, C-3PO, and the hallway of the Tantive-IV Rebel Blockade-Runner, was all created by me in Ray Dream Studio and Carrara, of which I have to confess I'm rather proud of, just for figuring out how to make the shapes..
